This big kitty was getting a bit restless as this shot was taken. It is a nice bit of symmetry for me. I have an old picture of myself at around age 3 or so with a lion cub. Now, at 35, I got to do it again. Note to U.S. Customs: I did not bring him home with me! |

This is the World War Two memorial in Tashkent for the fallen soldiers who perished fighting the Nazis. It is a very solemn place to visit, and every dead soldier has his name recorded here for family members to view. |
